A Message from the Founder

MORE 2 US was not created from a business plan or a trend. It was born from lived experience, personal loss, and a deep understanding of how incarceration impacts not only individuals behind the walls, but also those who return home and the families who carry the weight alongside them.

Incarceration has always been personal to me. I have witnessed how people are reduced to labels, how ex-cons and returning citizens continue to be punished long after their sentences are complete, and how families are often left without support, resources, or understanding. I saw talent, intelligence, creativity, and leadership go unseen simply because of a past mistake or a criminal record.

MORE 2 US exists because that reality is unacceptable.

MORE 2 US is a nonprofit organization and a movement dedicated to serving incarcerated individuals, ex-cons, and the families impacted by incarceration. We believe rehabilitation does not begin and end at release—it must continue with structure, accountability, opportunity, and dignity.

Through our programs, services, and an accompanying online platform, MORE 2 US provides visibility and support for those the system often overlooks. The platform is one of the tools we use to help individuals showcase their talents, share their voices, and be seen as whole human beings—but it is not the mission itself. The mission is people.

We are not a dating site. We are not built on pity. MORE 2 US is rooted in responsibility, transformation, and the belief that people can grow when given real opportunities and clear expectations. We support returning citizens as they work to rebuild their lives, stabilize their footing, and move forward with purpose. We support families who are often forgotten, yet expected to carry everything alone.

MORE 2 US stands for More Than an Inmate because that is the truth. People are more than their charges. Ex-cons are more than their records. Families are more than collateral damage. There is more story, more potential, and more future than society is willing to acknowledge.

This organization exists to make that “more” visible, supported, and protected.
