The worst part about the ER room
is the way my mother cried,
the doctor considered me a lucky man
and said two more inches I could’ve died,

I was plugged to a heart machine
with tubes in my mouth and nose,
although I did have full consciousness
I decided to keep my eyes closed,

My niece held my hand and said
uncle the angles kept u safe,
I will never leave u alone again
then she kissed me on my face,

I thought what if I don’t make it
the guy responsible will own a prize,
revenge is a strong emotion I swear
that alone is what kept me alive,

I made it out a breathing man
but temporarily it scared me,
I can’t call it a long shot at all
cause I know I only made it out barely.
