Hey there,
The name’s Carl, but my friends call me Lil Cee. Been locked up since I was 18, paying for some pretty terrible choices I made. Life inside these prison walls has been tough, and I don’t get to see or talk to many people apart from my family and the occasional fellow inmate who comes and goes.
But you know what? I’m a people person, always have been. It’s never been easy for me to truly hate anyone. I’ve got this love for people that runs deep. Through all these years, I’ve come to understand that life’s purpose boils down to love, experience, contribution, connection, and taking care of both our bodies and minds. Prison gave me the time and opportunity to think and reflect, and it sparked a desire within me to change and become a better person.
Time isn’t exactly in short supply here; I spend 23 hours a day locked up in my cell. So, I try to make the most of it (aside from the few hours I get to sleep) by diving into books and stuff that challenge my thinking. But yeah, there’s still a lot of downtime. That’s when I turn to meditation, exercise, yoga, and prayer to keep my sanity intact.
I’m a simple guy, and I firmly believe that true beauty lies within a person. Being in this confined space, I’d love nothing more than receiving long, chatty, and heartwarming messages from time to time. It would be a victory in itself if we can connect and build something meaningful despite the circumstances we’re in. And if that happens, we’ll go down in history for making a great triumph. I’ll always be grateful for your kindness and the luck that led us to cross paths.
