" We stand united, battling for the lives of those incarcerated."

More 2 Us began as a vision from Sean L. Latimer, an incarcerated individual who dreamed of a platform that would uplift, empower, and showcase the hidden talents of inmates. But a vision alone isn’t enough—it takes action, commitment, and belief to make it real.

That’s where Ly’Derian R. Greasham stepped in. When no one else cared about Sean’s dream, Ly’Derian saw its potential and brought it to life, building More 2 Us into a movement that redefines what it means to be incarcerated.

More 2 Us is more than just a platform—it’s a lifeline for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals to share their voices, talents, and stories while gaining financial, educational, and social support.

Society often reduces incarcerated individuals to just numbers. We see the human being behind the sentence. More 2 Us is breaking barriers, reshaping narratives, and proving that incarceration does not define a person’s worth or future.

Irete Meji: Embrace Balance, Healing, and Transformation

Irete Meji, a profound Odu from the Yoruba tradition, speaks directly to those facing challenges, urging them to find balance, fairness, and spiritual growth. For inmates, this Odu serves as a reminder that prison is not just a place of confinement, but an opportunity for reflection, cleansing, and renewal. It calls on individuals to recognize the cycles in their lives, make amends, and take responsibility for their actions. Irete Meji teaches that transformation is possible—no matter the circumstances—and that by embracing wisdom and personal growth, a new path toward healing and freedom can be forged.
